Warm greetings on behalf of the UICT students’ fraternity.

UICT is a government tertiary institution under the ministry of ICT and national guidance with quality education, and very many other students’ services. It offers a variety of courses ranging from short courses to diploma courses. The institute offers programs for day, evening and weekend students hence catering for all students to study at their most convenient. The institute has introduced online classes that have been embraced by students at the institute making studying easier from the different parts of the world.

The institute in conjunction with the Uganda government have setup an ICT Innovation hub, which will be the center of all innovators in Uganda. This gives an upper hand to the UICT students with great ideas to attain their goals. The institute has various co-curricular like sports, clubs and associations that keep the students engaged and networking hence increasing their social capital.

With the great administrators and lecturers at UICT, this calls for our mandate as the students Guild to enforce our primary role, which is providing an equal and understanding link between the Students body and the Administrative body of the institution. We as well put the Students welfare at our heart of operation, which is the sole value we stand for as the Student leadership. We would also love to encourage our esteemed students to liaison with us in order to better their stay in UICT because with this commitment, our students run smooth academic excellence evidenced with quality output of students to compete in the World open market.

I will also take this opportunity to welcome our new students to UICT. The place you have chosen is a center of excellence and trust me you will not regret your decision.
