Telecommunications Engineering (TE)

Telecommunication technology is changing fast, and at the same time the demand to use telecommunication is fast growing. The personnel that carry out the operations and maintenance of the equipment need to be well trained. There are thousands of school leavers who, for one reason or the other, fail to join the university. A good number of these school leavers can be trained to take up the challenging tasks in the telecommunications sector.

(Entry  requirements must have been obtained at the same sitting)

Either: UACE with at least a principal pass in Math or Physics and 2 subsidiary passes plus at least a credit in either Math or physics and 4 other passes at O’Level. OR: UCE/O’ level with at least 3 credits one of which should be in either Math or Physics, and a certificate in a relevant discipline from a recognized institution
